Here we come... bringing the HEAT back to the Summer of 2020! Things will be a little different, as to be expected, nevertheless we are excited to get back to the fields and reconnect with our AWESOME lacrosse community! We will carefully be following guidelines set forth by the CDC, US Lacrosse and state officials. Please be sure so you understand the protocols before arriving to the fields.

We will kick off the month of June with practices, small drills, conditioning and stick work. No scrimmaging or person-to-person contact will be allowed. In July we hope to progress into the next phase as things continue to reopen in Arizona and our surrounding states.

STEP ONE: June 8-July 2 7:30-9pm

Practices will focus on stick skills, fundamentals, conditioning, and core strengthening workouts. We will try our best to limit our groups on the field to an average of 10 players per coach with good spacing between groups on the field to help maintain social distancing. Registrations can cap out based on location options so register quickly to hold your spot. Note: If we exceed our numbers you will be on a waitlist and we will see if we can accommodate more time slots on the fields.

  • High School (NORTH): Mon/Wed
  • Middle School (NORTH): Tues/Thurs
  • Middle School/High School (SOUTH): Tues/Thurs

COST = $75

NORTH Location: North Phoenix Preparatory Academy, 14100 N 32nd St, Phoenix, AZ 85032

SOUTH Location: Archway Classical Academy Arete, 4525 E Baseline Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85234

STEP TWO: July 13-Aug 9th Registration coming soon

Our hopes are to progress practices into more game like conditions with small group scrimmaging while continuing to follow guidelines set by states officials as we get closer.

Tournament Options available with this registration:

  • Denver Shootout: July 31st-Aug 2nd
  • Adrenaline's America's Finest Rivalry: August 8-9th, Temecula, CA
  • Note: We have eliminated the Santa Barbara Showdown from our event list this summer based on survey responses.

Our Protocol due to Covid 19:

We are following US Lacrosse's Return to Play Guidelines: CLICK HERE , CVC, and our state officials. We understand that not all families may be ready to come back and if you are not comfortable please stay home and reach out as we are happy to virtually stay connected!

What we need from you:

  • All players must stay home if you are feeling sick or displaying any Covid-19 symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath, chills, sore throat, loss of taste/smell, etc.
  • You will provide your own equipment (stick, goggles, mouth guard, water bottle) and are NOT to touch any of ours such as cones and goals. You may use our balls but if you prefer can bring your own to use.
  • Do not share anything you bring to the field.
  • You are to keep an acceptable 6 feet of social distancing on the fields and on your way to and from the fields as best as you can. No gathering.
  • When you arrive at the field you will place your stuff at a marked off section for gear on a cone that is empty. Then you will line up on a practice cone that is empty before we get started. Your coaches will direct you from there. Once we have our set groups of 10, you will go to your groups designated area on the field.

What we will do:

  • We will provide hand sanitizer/disinfecting wipes on the field.
  • Coaches and volunteers will move all shared use equipment such as cones, goals, etc.
  • We will sanitize all shared items between practices.
  • We will release our groups in shifts to leave the field.
  • We will try to keep our groups at an average size of 10 per coach and spaced out on the field.
