TRYOUTS: 2024/2025 SEASON

Desert Heat Tryouts and Placements - 2024

Tryouts/Placements for the 2024 club season will be held on Saturday, May 11 at the ASU Recreation & Sports Fields. For more information on our how we will structure our teams this year, please see our Tryouts & Rosters page. 

Middle School: 2031/2030

High School (White/Orange/Black): 2029/2028/2027/2026/2025 YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 REGULAR SEASON OF LACROSSE EXPERIENCE!

This summer the 2029's (rising 8th graders) will merge into the one of the high school Orange or White teams described on the Tryouts & Roster page. Come fall, we will reassess the status of the 2028s and 2029s with the goal to create one team that we will register as a 2028 team for the fall/winter events and push any 2027 and higher into Orange. All teams are required to travel and attend practices. Desert Heat is NOT accepting NEW players. You must have at least ONE season of lacrosse prior to joining Desert Heat. If you are new to the game and would like to learn, please see our Summer Stix program. 

• Check-in will start at 8:00 am, and field evaluations will run 8:30am - 10:30am

Rosters will be posted no later than Sunday, May 12th (if not sooner) and will be distributed via email to all participants.

A strong reminder that our rosters are always "DYNAMIC" and never final! We strongly believe in moving players up or down based on their level of commitment, growth and leadership throughout any point in the given season. Click here to view our Dynamic Rosters Policy.
